🌍 International Day of the Girl | Cybersecurity and Digital Rights At the Internet Society Zimbabwe Chapter, we continue to champion initiatives that equip girls and women with the skills, awareness, and confidence to thrive securely online.

We recently conducted our first cybersecurity training session for 40 women in the Avondale area of Zimbabwe, focusing on enhancing the digital safety of informal traders and self-employed women. Recognizing the increasing challenges posed by cyber threats.

As Internet Society, we participated in the second AI4IA event hosted by the UNESCO Regional Office for Southern Africa and the Government of Zimbabwe in 2025. Our involvement in the hybrid panel discussion allowed us to share insights on how AI intersects with climate change
