Our president and CEO, Sally Wentworth, spoke at the “Global Access, Global Progress” panel at @IntGovForum. She discussed the Internet Society's "community-centered approach" to connectivity, which allows local communities to build and sustain their own networks, and more.

Houston’s Sunnyside community is a low-income area that is disproportionately affected by the digital divide. But with funding from us and @Truist, @SouthUnionCDC was able to build their own Internet infrastructure, enabling them to offer affordable, accessible connection.
