I-94 EB 2.4 mm (Indianapolis Blvd.) Police Activity is taking place for an officer involved shooting. There is no ongoing threat to the public. All lanes are currently closed and traffic is being diverted at Calumet Ave. and Indpls. Blvd. This will be an extensive road closure. Seek alternative routes. The left two lanes westbound are also currently affected as well. LANE CLOSURE - CRASH INVESTIGATION A semi rollover has occurred on the ramp from I65 northbound to I80 westbound, just north of Ridge Road, in Lake County. The only open lane currently is the far left lane. This is causing significant traffic delays. The entire ramp will likely need to be closed during the recovery of the overturned semi. Expect this to be lengthy detail. Seek alternate routes. The driver of the semi was not injured (except maybe his pride). This post will be updated when the roadway is back open.
