📢 A Reminder for STAYs Stray Kids are one of the few K-pop groups that consistently avoid the large monthly Spotify stream deletions that many artists experience. That is not by accident. It is the result of years of research, education, and hard work by fanbases that have continuously taught the fandom proper streaming practices. If you choose not to use a fanbase playlist or Stationhead and prefer to create your own playlists, we strongly urge you not to set them up like the examples shown in these images. Looping a single song repeatedly is not helping HAN. In fact, it can have the opposite effect. Artificial streaming patterns are more likely to be filtered by Spotify, resulting in streams being removed and overall numbers being negatively impacted. Our team has spent years researching, testing, monitoring data, and educating STAYs on how Spotify's filtering systems work. We were also among the first fanbases to warn the fandom that Spotify would begin conducting large-scale monthly stream audits and deletions. If you are skeptical of our research, simply look at other fandoms that continue to rely on looping methods. Every month, many of those artists lose millions of streams through Spotify's filtering process. If you want to support Stray Kids—and in this case, HAN—please do so properly. Use diverse playlists, listen naturally, and follow established streaming guidelines. The goal is not simply to generate streams. The goal is to generate valid streams that count.
