I'm excited to be speaking at Tech Summit 2026 in Christchurch, New Zealand this September.
I'll be giving the closing keynote on how macroeconomic cycles, liquidity, and technology shape financial markets, and how investors can use those frameworks to make better decisions.

Well the Fed did not raise rates and the 30Y yield is breaking out.

Bond market likely to revolt and yields head higher with the labor market showing strength recently and the Fed potentially unwilling to raise rates tomorrow. Bond market also revolted in late 2023 which led to a 10% correction in stocks. SPX has had a 10-20% correction starting in Aug/Sep of the last 3 midterm years. This would also align with Bitcoin putting in a market cycle bottom later this year, just when it always does.

Basically a 2/3 chance the Fed holds rates constant.
With forward guidance gone and a new Fed chair, there seems to be a lot less certainty on what the Fed is actually going to do.
My guess is that they keeps rates constant and more seriously think about raising rates in Sep.
