Today’s GEX Recap: $QQQ QQQ moved through multiple 0DTE gamma regimes during the session, but spent most of the day in negative gamma as price declined from 690.93 at the RTH open to 682.23 at the close. The positioning picture changed materially from the opening setup. 0DTE Net GEX began at +$182M before crossing negative and continuing to deteriorate through the session. By midday, Net GEX had moved from approximately -$80M to -$201M, while the dominant strike-level GEX concentration had shifted down toward 680. Negative gamma continued to expand into the afternoon, with 0DTE Net GEX reaching approximately -$249M near the close. The 680 strike remained the dominant GEX concentration as QQQ finished the session at 682.23. Session Shift: 0DTE Net GEX: +$182M → -$249M Dominant GEX strike: 692 → 680 QQQ: 690.93 → 682.23 The defining change was not simply the decline in QQQ, but the simultaneous shift in the 0DTE positioning structure: Net GEX moved from positive to deeply negative while the dominant strike concentration migrated from 692 down to 680.
