🚨 Do you understand what happened in the last 12 hours? > A CEO of a $200 billion company said on camera that 35% of new grads won't find jobs. He didn't even flinch saying it. > Meta made $165 billion last year and is still firing 15,000 people because apparently record profit isn't profitable enough. > Some random guy in Florida sold his entire house in 5 days using ChatGPT. No real estate agent, no commission, no experience. Just vibes and a $20 subscription. > A man in Australia cured his dying dog's cancer with AI after every single vet told him there was nothing left to do. Built a custom vaccine from his couch. > The guy who created Uber and left 300,000 taxi drivers broke is back. Building robots now because apparently ruining one industry wasn't enough. > Tinder wants access to your camera roll. Your drunk photos, your 3am notes app meltdowns, your deleted selfies. They're calling it a "vibe check." > Naval, the man who made hundreds of millions investing in software, just said software is dead. Four words and the entire industry felt it. > And Anthropic removed the limit on how long their AI can think and then doubled everyone's usage for free. Because when the product is addictive enough you give the first taste away. All of that happened today. Not this week, not this quarter. Today. A random Saturday in March. This is worse than you being on meth.

The workflow I keep wanting to build: 1. External event triggers an AI agent 2. Agent does the work autonomously 3. Pings me when it needs a decision 4. Executes once I approve What are you using to build event-driven AI agents with human-in-the-loop, ideally .md-style?

We use both Cursor and Claude Code. Within weeks our coding conventions were scattered across 5 config files, all slightly different. Our fix: one docs/conventions/ folder with tool-agnostic markdown, written for both humans and AI agents. Each tool just points to it.

Interactive plan mode in Claude Code. When using plan mode in CC, it will generate a "best guess" plan. Ideally, I'd like it to be more interactive. I.e. before generating a plan it would give me a few architectural options etc. How do you achieve this?

Time to upgrade from Mac’s pre-installed Terminal app, especially for running coding agents like Claude Code. Best pick? 🙏

Reduced build time of our Nextjs app from 8 min to 2 min by: - Building on Vercel (Turbo Performance machine) instead of Github - Turbopack instead of Webpack - Upload source maps to Sentry after build instead of during

Tip: Radix Dialog + Sonner: toast close button stops working because the modal disables pointer events on the page. Give the Toaster pointer-events: auto so it stays clickable, and prevent the dialog from closing when clicking the toast.

I'm excited that Turbo build machines are now the default for new Pro projects at Vercel! Build speed is a hidden bottleneck on AI coding, particularly in agentic loops. Teams using turbo machine have been experiencing up to 3x faster build times with Turbo machines vercel.com/changelog/turb…

@tadeumaia Previously (using webpack) src maps were uploaded to sentry during build. You can configure it to upload them after build. Pretty sure this is the default nowadays

What's the easiest way to navigate through the src-code of downloaded open-src node modules? I always end up manually finding the file in Github. Must be a better way.

How are you handling backtesting / evals when bumping LLM models in prod? Any patterns, tools or eval setups you’d recommend? Need ideas! Thanks 🙏

Vercel preview URLs can’t be disabled. Leak once and users may hit old builds (bookmarks, etc.). Fix: Redirect *.vercel.app → canonical domain using Vercel WAF. Done.

🚨 Turns out the stable versions of Next.js 14 weren’t fully spared from the vulnerabilities disclosed in React2Shell. New information has surfaced → Next 14 users should upgrade immediately to 14.2.35. nextjs.org/blog/security-…
