@ninaturner @americnhumanist Who receives the money? Who is responsible for paying the reparations. Of course it was wrong but are we asked the Egyptians of today to pay reparations for their slavery? Where does it end? Remember, learn, never ever forget and move on in a spirit of shared humanity

If you believe chattel slavery was a moral wrong, it’s important to support reparations to repair that wrong. Acknowledging harm without supporting steps to heal it is empty.
