Week 10 for #Bitcoin after what was a major sentiment clearing Cycle low in Nov. In a bull market, that was a BTD event and would be pushing ATH's now, like stocks. An extremely anemic and poor response to date. Has nothing to do with gold. If stocks punch through ATH's here, this chart probably paints a little excitement for bulls. If stocks somehow fail to follow through.........

Most of crypto is behaving as they would, in a bear market. Every Cycle we tell ourselves, "I won't round trip this time". Yet we're conditioned to respond with inaction, saving our fear not for losses, but for the possibility of missing out.

We all have things about ourselves we wish we could change but the automatic programming continues to override and we act out of habit/compulsively instead of consciously choosing

My resolutions over the years that truly stuck never began on Jan 1st. Like watching motivational clip, it never lasted. I battled addiction in my early years, really crippling addiction. And it taught me a lot about change. A resolution is simply a recognition, a desire for change, and proof we believe we can do better for ourselves. We all know we’re capable of much more. So I try to focus less on what I want to add in life, and more on what I want to stop. If I can just remove some negative actions, there is a good chance positive naturally fills that space. It’s that process of stopping the most negative actions that has helped most. Happy New Year’s to all.

Have very mixed feeling on Bitcoin currently. Sentiment is in the gutter and we could argue overdue some type of strong countertrend rally. Yet, I really dislike the price action, the tape feel (for me) is one wanting to start another big leg lower.

You're telling me a single entity has bought 4,000,000 ETH in less than 6 months and the price is the same. Clearly a higher high would not have been made in this cycle for ETH, like most other coins.

@yakozaki Good question, that's around $100k. That's the big test imo. I think it gets there but agree it's a good place to get stalled.

Stocks and Bitcoin have the right cycle setup for this move to finally get some upside momentum going.

New monthly candles, and Bitcoin has its first close below 10ma. Late in a cycle generally provides lot of evidence of a top. All timeframes are now in a downtrend. The divergence to equities is also glaring. Know many feel "it's different this time", and it might be, but also I don't get ignoring it. Still think we're going to see a rally into Jan. More importantly, don't see why people are holding ALT coins, those are sure to completely round trip (many well on their way). Least with BTC you can hodl through.

The Bitcoin 4Year Cycle peak coming once again the Cycle on Month 35 (Oct 2025) is almost all but certain now. In the meantime, a good 2 month rally will be coming. I’ll do a new 4 yr Cycle video (YouTube) on Tuesday.
