Another memorable day at the #IPSASMasterclass2026. Day four combined engaging sessions with moments of relaxation and fun as participants enjoyed swimming, volleyball, basketball and aerobics. The evening concluded with a beautiful gala dinner where we celebrated International Women’s Day, honored the women among us and shared joyful moments together. A powerful step toward shaping Rwanda’s future accounting professionals. Senior 4 students from 56 secondary schools across Rwanda, including public, government aided and private schools oriented by @NESA_Rwanda, successfully sat the CAT Programme pre assessment examination to identify those eligible for Government sponsorship. Out of 3,156 expected candidates, 3,041 students participated, representing an impressive 96% attendance rate. Among the 2,234 public and government aided students who sat the exam, 2,218 students (99.3%) achieved the minimum pass mark of 50% and above. Notably, 22 schools recorded a 100% pass rate at the required threshold. Implemented in partnership with the Rwanda Basic Education Board (@REBRwanda), this initiative is helping close the skills gap, strengthen financial literacy, and prepare Rwanda’s youth for rewarding careers in accounting in line with Vision 2050. #CATProgramme #FutureAccountants #Vision2050 #YouthSkills #AccountingProfession #RwandaEducation
