@ChiSoxFanMike Even just snagging 1 would be good. Then go handle business against the Angels again. Coming out of the road trip 3-3 or better is good with me.
The Padres are a big measuring stick series for the White Sox. They are a good team, especially at home.
If the Sox can take 2 of 3 from them, I’ll be ecstatic.
@ChiSoxFanMike The “momentum” for this young core is going to disappear quick without the front office willing to go out in the offseason and spend. They have to be willing to spend on a big bat or arm to fully support the young core. Also at what point do we start identifying some of these…
I’m very happy the White Sox have the #1 pick in the draft. But I think it’s unfair to expect Roch Cholowsky (or whoever they take) to single-handedly turn this franchise around.
They are going to have to spend money on good players soon or this is never going to work.
@ChiSoxFanMike Our pitching is just so far away. They can’t wait around for Hagen, Noah, and Tanner. Let them develop on the big stage and give this team a chance. Burke, Martin, and I don’t who else can move to the bullpen
@scottmerkin Curious to know if you think Kay will have a solid season based on what you have seen this spring? I know it’s a small sample size but would love to hear your thoughts.
@ChiSoxFanMike Sucks because we have an offense that can compete with most teams but our pitching is very far behind. Hopefully they promote Smith and Schultz quickly so we can see what we’ve got.
@insidethehall@ryancorazza I’m pretty sure it’s because we only had one guy who could guard 1 on 1. Enright is the only one that took pride in stopping someone defensively.
@ChiSoxFanMike So what are the Sox going to do when Lee is hitting .300 with a .800 OPS when Teel gets healthy? Deal him? Put him in a rotation at 1st with Mune?
