Sometimes back in 2022. That day, a colleague and I went to another colleague’s place. Let’s call them Musa and David. As we got there, the music was loud… too loud. We looked at each other and just knew David wasn’t alone. We didn’t knock. We didn’t interrupt. We just stood outside, waiting… because we had something important to discuss with him. But Musa… Musa was different. He started joking, saying he wanted to “listen closely” to what was going on inside. Before I could even react, he dragged me closer to the wall. And yes… between the music and the silence in between, you could tell exactly what was happening. We were both laughing. Messing around. Just waiting for David to finish. No suspicion. No idea. Nothing. Then finally, the door opened. David stepped out, looking normal like nothing happened. But as we shifted from where we were standing… We saw her. And everything changed. Standing right there… was Musa’s girlfriend. The same girl inside with David. And the craziest part? David had no idea the girl was Musa's girlfriend and the funniest part is that Musa hasn't had any sexual intercourse with her, but he has spent and preserving her until marriage according to their tradition and religion. But Musa did. Musa the one laughing, the one dragging me to listen… was standing there, watching his own reality unfold in silence. Just a quiet kind of shock that didn’t need words. 😂😂😂

2021, I gained admission to study Environmental Science at Ekiti State University.I was the only student in my department. I had no coursemate. I attended lectures alone, did assignments and projects alone. I wrote tests alone, I sat alone for exams. God held my hands from 100-400lvl. I remember writing 10 exams alone in 300 level during my SIWES period. Ten exams in one semester. I heard the word "unserious" too many times. But I didn't give up. Look at me today, I'm now a GRADUATE. What God cannot do does not exist. EKSU graduate of Bsc Environmental Science celebrates.
