Every iconic landmark on the CSUN campus hits different now. After two intense years of sweat, tears, laughter, and every emotion in the toolbox, it all comes full circle. Twenty years ago, I graduated from Gallaudet University—and now here I am, standing tall at CSUN for grad school like life said, “Run it back.” And CSUN? It welcomed me with open arms like, “Took you long enough, but we saved you a seat.” Back then, I was sprinting across campus at Gallaudet chasing Dean signatures like it was the Amazing Race. Now? We just DocHub it—from anywhere. I swear, professors out here signing off on theses while yachting with a mimosa in one hand and WiFi in the other. New era, same hustle. I’m beyond grateful to CSUN for giving me the space, tools, and opportunity to chase my dream of becoming the best screenwriter I can be. But more than that, it gave me lifetime connections with classmates and friendships that’ll outlast any group chat. And now… I can officially say: once a Matador, always a Matador. MFA complete. Foxxism certified. @csunorthridge #CSUNGrad2025
