The point I’m making is that this was an inevitable outcome for the future of the content they were going to push out.
A ton of games now in some way shape or form are bringing in a battle pass like system for their content. Is it as greedy as 2K’s no but this was going to happen.

Anyone that’s upset about WWE 2K bringing a Battle Pass system to their game clearly hasn’t seen what’s been happening in video games for the last few years.
Battle Pass/Ringside Pass same thing. Same principle. To give you more content that you’re looking for. Now it’s up to you if you want to utilize the content they give you but it’s going to be a thing moving forward. Just accept it.

@nottheone2k Without automated test scripts to run through the code this is a no win situation for a developer.
This would require longer development time. Would require QA to have automation in place to test ‘big ticket items’
A ‘patch’ just isnt going to cut it.

@IamTDR Theoretically, yes, but it’s not necessarily something that would be in place for 26.
And yes, it is the base code from 2K25, which is the base code for the past WWE games since the early 2000s.

This is because the QA team doesn’t test the patches on legacy save files, only brand new saves.
Unfortunately, it’s frustrating to us who develop the game as we see this, but they don’t tell us about what gets broken in the next patch, until we hear about it online.

i COOKED with AEW Dynamite 19' with the tunnels
however due to the image compression bug it makes the textures look horrible in game especially the curtain when its perfect in CAA bruh it has to be fixed its making me not wanna drop it yet i have the other version too #WWE2K26

@TPWSpodcast Who actually owes the content? Could WWE take the code, along with all the motion captures, to another developer? It just seems that it’s beyond Visual Concepts ability. It’s harsh as people do work hard but the proof is in the output.
