@titansfilmroom Had a similar-ish thought about Salah. He KNOWS he can build a strong defense & is likely confident in that. If that's the case, & you're concerned about what you have less control over, getting an elite offensive player may be more attractive to a defensive coach than we think

People will tell you a RB isn’t worth a top-4 pick right after a RB just won SBMVP the year after Saquon carried the Eagles to a Super Bowl with a 2K-yard season. People would really have you draft a worse player with bigger question marks simply because of “positional value.”

Trading Jaren for maximum value before his extension kicks in is a no-brainer if you’re going to trade Bane and Ja and start a rebuild. They clearly (and probably correctly) determined they didn’t have a realistic path to contend around Ja and Jaren. When you come to that conclusion, the sooner you act the better. Now they have a couple young guys and a boatload of picks to build the next era. Even if you hit on 1/3 of all these picks, you will have a good team.
