In Morocco 🇲🇦, two journalists—one from Mali 🇲🇱 and one from Cameroon 🇨🇲—were found dead in their hotel rooms after speaking out about corruption in the AFCON. Many Senegalese fans are being arrested and charged for misconduct during the final match, instead of the Moroccan Football Association charging the Senegalese Football Association for their fans' misconduct according to FIFA codes. The Moroccan government and its people should be ashamed for turning football into a disaster. FIFA and the useless CAF need to act.

This life, my brother. I was suspended from UB for a year for standing up for students. I watched my classmates graduate & start their careers while I stayed home, sharing toothpaste with my mom. That’s the reality of activism. People cheer the noise, but few check if you’re okay. At CEDA, I stood up again for what I believed was wrong. I lost a high paying job, my car, my savings, my plot, and faced five lawsuits (now down to two). I was almost detained for standing with GBV victims & nearly harmed for speaking up against the now convicted pastor Mojadigo. I wasn’t always right, maybe 99% wrong, but I tried to do right where it mattered. They said I should look for a job. Even failed artists released songs mocking me. And I chose myself. I became selfish once in my life. I resigned from activism. Today, I don’t beg for rent or electricity. For the first time, the burden feels lighter. If anyone thinks I should return to the trenches or calls me a traitor, let them first walk my path and lose what I lost. You know how you used to pay for my cup of coffee, when I was thebeless. Not once, not twice but many times. You were there for me more than many. You saw what I lost. You saw the full price that I paid & how I kept the smile regardless. I paid a full price. If I failed, history will vindicate me
