@ar_pnw Why most doctors have no clue about this? And no talk about treatments? I have CCI but I had a brief remission period where my neck felt stable. Need more answers.

People ask “how is this even possible?” Tissue damage. Look up Griesel Syndrome. It can happen with pretty much any infection, including Covid. And yes, it can happen that fast.

Today is one of those days where I reallllyyy miss waking up and not feeling like I have the worst hangover of my life (I haven't drank in 2 years!!) coupled with the flu 🥲🥲🥲 I can't believe I used to wake up clear headed and go on 5km runs before work 😭

@LindseyMarie_xo Yes normal MRI and CT, contrast used for both. I self referred via email and it was covered by OHIP - I'll dm you the details!

So I had to wake up at 2am today and go to St. Michaels hospital in Toronto to get an MRI and CT scan to see if I have any compressed veins maybe contributing to my symptoms. (I self referred myself to this clinic). Turns out - I DO! I have two severely compressed veins, one in my neck and one in my brain. The vascular neurosurgeon wants to put a stent in my vein in my brain. He said I could have this procedure as early as May or June. It would be done laparoscopically. He believes that this could be contributing to a lot of the symptoms I am experiencing such as my migraines, head pressure, tinnitus, dizziness and even some of my POTS symptoms. Was a long day and am crashing so hard now but it was nice to get answers. And confirmation that I was correct about my suspicion.

Reactive hyperglycemia symptoms… they’re so weird and wildly aggravating. What’s even weirder is that ativan totally wipes these symptoms away for like 24-48 hours.
