@VeganGeordie @donhutch4 Personally I see nothing to be gained by doing it now. What I would do before I gave him a penny is see what his plans were for the older and fringe players and who he sees at the type of players we want to go for. That will be the biggest indicator for me whether its time.

@IanBiggins @donhutch4 at no point have i said that, i just think its time for him to go for a new challenge, it's gone stale and it is reminiscent of his sacking at AFCB. Always be grateful for what he did, but he is better as a game a week manager, developing young talented players, eg Brighton.

Who realistically would you swap him for mate? Take into consideration E Howe took Newcastle out the bottom 3. Twice into Champions Lge. Won a trophy. No1 has done that in over 70 years. The PSG walloping fans will never forget at home
Alan1967@Alan19673

@donhutch4 We are grateful for what he's achieved, but the fact is he's not going to take the club any further. And if the owners want to be number one, he isn't the manager to do it. He's limited by his ability. If he was as good as you think he is, the top clubs would be in for him.

Carbon copy. You won’t find a Bournemouth or Newcastle fan who has a word to say against him personally - both fanbases grateful for what he gave them. But there was an identical decline and an acknowledgment from their fans that time was up. That time has come here. #NUFC

If you were the #NUFC owners would you throw $1bn at a 70k stadium that fans were screaming for last year, when 1 year on, when we're mid table the fans are going into meltdown and personally attacking the manager and staff?

@DanLang12 One of 2 things will happen in the summer. Clearly something is off in the dressing room, if its the minority they will be gone and Howe stays. If its more than we can sell and replace, then player power wins and he goes, which players leave after that is anyone's guess.

Alot of people are calling for Howe out on here. I just want to know what actual manager they think is available right now and who would take the Newcastle job and take Newcastle forward? A lot of the players will definitely want to leave if we got rid of Howe. #NUFC

@netrocyn @ridwan_803 We have no idea about any of that. The one thing that has been consistent in the last 4 years with him is him taking responsibility for his actions whilst praising the team. You just don't want to see it.

#NUFC The club hasn’t released any statement. Do they think we’ll just swallow this and move on? Eddie shouldn’t step foot in the club again. He’s lost the dressing room, the board, and the fans. This decision shouldn’t be taking this long.🤷🏻‍♂️

@VeganGeordie @donhutch4 You're right, it's not on the fans. You would probably find though if it were there would be fewer calling him a cunt and telling him to get out of the club.

@donhutch4 AFCB sacked him, they are thriving under a diff system, all the issues we have were the reasons he got the sack. Stop this bs, it's not on fans to find a new manager, Amorim sacking made Man utd's season. Eddie, thanks but you need to be playing 1 game a week to thrive.

@donhutch4 It's why talk of a 70k seater stadium is premature. Development of a team isn't a straight line, I know my mates have found it far easier to get tickets in the ballot this year, its almost like 1 bad season and those fans demanding more tickets have vanished.

I totally agree. One bad season and every is losing there minds. It’s been a shocking season✅ But surely this is the time to back E Howe. 2 champions lge campaigns✅ Walloped PSG at Home✅ Trophy in the cabinet🏆 Great aggressive football at home (ovs not this season)

The Disrespect showed to our manager and players is embrassing, that's our most successful manager in 50 years, yet we now have people calling him a C.nt, I’ve followed this club home & away for 50+ years and Eddie Howe has done the one thing others could not even dream about

@KHeneage Exactly, we're miles off competing with some teams for pull and if we try to use financials we can still be beaten. We also only get 1 chance to upgrade a position and have to make it work, some teams can write off players and just go again, see Man U with Antony, Sancho etc.

Howe is never going to say it, but I've thought for a while, the issue for club's like Newcastle and Aston Villa is less about being able to spend money, and more about being able to get your first choice target. That’s where PSR seems to stifle teams.

@ridwan_803 You can tell from Howe's interviews that he knows he's safe "That's on me" "Blame me" "It's my responsibility" He wouldn't use that language if he was actually going to be held responsible

@geordieboys07 @ToonPolls Out of the 3 options we have, he's the first one I'd pick. Thiaw panics, loses his head when pressure is applied and Botman end up leaving the field every time he gets a knock and plays like he's got the pace of 3 years ago (he hasn't). Burn is slow but realises it.

@Weldy43 Every manager in the world has bought players that didn't work, some clubs just write them off and move on (see Man U or Chelsea over the last 2 or 3 years) NUFC, Villa and Everton etc HAVE to try to make them work, they get one chance to upgrade a position. Woltemade was at 10.

The rules made him waste hundreds of millions on shite, he rules make him play our centre forward in midfield, the rules make us fall apart in the 2nd half of almost every game, the rules made him pick that back line today

@MonteCarNUFC He wanted 6 strikers ahead of them, those doing the deals couldn't get them done. He wanted Trafford, those doing the deals couldn't get it done. Not many managers progress if they are left with their 7th & 8th choice strikers, bought last minute and a twice relegated keeper.

I'm old enough to remember when you were proud of a player from #NUFC getting an international call up. Seems like these days we have to come on here and say how shit we think they are and don't deserve it.

All you have to do is spend 10 minutes on this App and you will realise why we don't need anywhere near a 70k stadium. One mid table season and we want the manager and all bar 2 players gone. Some in her have gone from can't get a ticket in the ballot to they can shove it.

@paulbrock1 @NUFCJS @MastrContender I get that but the summer after a world cup always has managerial moves. A real top manager waits to see what's available, he doesn't get tied down in March. Ultimately I think it will be the dressing room that saves him or fires him.

@IanBiggins @NUFCJS @MastrContender 7 of the ones i listed are out of work. 1 definitely leaving there club at end of season. Realistically i think u use 3 weeks free now to do it. If u look at fixtures left 5 of them we should win. Arsenal, bournmout i dont no could push us up to euro spots not champs league ones

@NUFCJS @MastrContender @paulbrock1 Realistically no manager is leaving a job in March to come here. Top, top managers won't come before a world cup. Who's left? I'm not saying Howe never sack him but there has to be a plan. You can't just sack him and say football is full of managers, get anyone.

@wuds100 All keepers would take up that sort of position. Having 7 players in the box and not one of them close enough to Brobby is the more worrying thing for me. 2nd time in a week that Livramento has completely switched off.

@paulbrock1 @NUFCJS If we could get Alonso to come in this week, knowing there's cup coming up and all the managerial changes that that makes. I'd drive Howe to the airport. But he isn't, as for someone those names, you are seriously saying that Enrique chucks it at PSG and come here this week?
