With Riot's 67th change to Senna's Soul drop rate, they've made it so high for NOT last hitting a minion that it's not worth it to last hit range minions any more LMAO
i dont rly know how else to explain it so PREPARE UR EYES FOR GIRL MATH
1 soul = 8g + 26.25g (in AD) + 15g (in %Crit rate) = 49.25g
soul drop rate for missing = 32%
soul drop rate for CSing = 5%
increase in drop rate from missing vs CSing = 32% - 5% = 27%
soul gold value from missing CS = 49.25 * .27 = 13.3g
so basically you're losing .7 gold by not last hitting a ranged minion (assuming you can get all the souls they drop) BUT HERE ARE THE UPSIDES:
1 - you get 1 permanent range per soul (not included in any of the math)
2 - Senna R scales with souls
3 - you can focus on trading in the wave instead of farming
4 - if you miss CS, your gold deficit gets added to the enemy adc gold bounty i think
5 - YOUR SUPPORT CAN JUST TAKE THE GOLD SINCE THERE IS NO SUPPORT FARMING PENALTY XDDDDDDD
anyways I think that all of those things are clearly worth more than 1 gold...
Here's an example - it takes around 80 missed ranged minions to generate 20 souls. You'll be down ONLY 56g in gold value if you account for the AD/crit/gold you get from each soul BUT YOUR SUPPORT WILL BE UP 1120g AND YOU GET 20 MORE RANGE. This happens at around 15 mins btw so this is the average laning phase.
All of this on top of the fact that getting souls and range makes it even easier to get more souls and more range...
I've only tried it a few games but it feels really good, you get way more consistent souls in lane and I don't even notice the lost CS at all and works 100x better when my dumbass support actually last hits the backline like I told them to. So this is probably giga broken with a duo.
