@GardensHour I’ve a tibouchina, like this one. (Not mine). It’s put on loads of growth is probably 4-5ft but although it looks like it’s going to flower it never does. It just puts on more growth. Will it get there and can I help it? #gardenshour
It’s our final Q&A session of the year, as we don’t run one in December.

Hello and welcome to #GardensHour!
It’s the final chat in November, so let’s look back. What have been your highlights? Any lows?
It’s also Q&A week - look out for the question thread coming in a moment…
@GardensHour A few from Becky Falls and Castle Drogo this weekend. 🍄 is a bit spooky I suppose and BF’s 💦is definitely spooky 👻 Pixies🧝🧝♀️ #gardenshour
Hello and welcome to #GardensHour
This week is loosely Halloween themed, but you can frame that however you wish!
Do you grow pumpkins, squash, gourds? Decorate them? What spiders, webs, bats are in your area?
Take the theme wherever you wish!
@GardensHour Not a lot going on. Last flurry of orange for awhile I think. A few cyclamens gone in and the arums are pushing back up, I generally clear the arums right back late August and then protect from frost. #gardenshour
What have you been up to in the garden this past week? The good, the bad and the ugly (although I’m pretty sure not too many gardens will fall into that category! 🤣). Post below 👇 #GardensHour
@GardensHour There’s a bit of yellow and orange in there 👀. I’ve got to say the weathers been great but the rain forecast this week is needed. Plus I won’t be there to water so even better #gardenshour
Hello and welcome to #GardensHour!
Who’s here this week? Have you had a good week in the garden?
It’s ORANGES and YELLOWS for the colour theme this week but all posts welcome as always.
Enjoy 💛🧡
Hello and welcome to this week’s #GardensHour!
Who’s here? Say 👋
For the next instalment of #SixWeeksOfColour we have WHITES & CREAMS. What pale colours are brightening up your spaces?
@PygmyCreative@GardensHour Had a few wasps around the fruiting banana (better there than around me) but that fell off (I knocked it off accidentally) but low and behold a second banana plant is also flowering/fruiting 🤷♂️
Hello and huge warm welcome to #GardensHour!
We are starting our #SixWeeksOfColour, celebrating (you guessed it) colour in your gardens!
This year we start with blues and purples. What blue hues, are showing up for you?
@GardensHour and completely off theme I was hunting a fairy 🧚♀️this week, well it looked like one to start with, but finally tracked it down. A hedgerow darwin wasp, not seen in the garden before. #gardenshour
@GardensHour VIP visitor soon, (my 90yr old mum). Added a rope handrail this evening, to help with the garden steps. Hope she also likes the high ropes course and scramble net to the bedroom. 😆#gardenshour
Hello and a huge welcome to #GardensHour
We are flying through the year and today we welcome JULY into our gardens.
What does this mean for you? Anything new? What’s different to last year? What are you looking forward to?
