Hey, @grok, who was the most famous person to visit my profile? It doesn't need to be a mutual, don't tag them, just say who it was

@jowrotethis The new Mr and Mrs Smith should have also strung their series week to week. It’s amazing.

Why would you binge dump THE BEAR when you could absolutely rule the conversation for weeks at a time!?

@Liv_Boeree I think it’s more Tragedy of the Commons than Prisoners Dilemma. It would be better if we all did A but the logic forces us to choose B, particularly if we can’t see the voting (or don’t trust the population)

I don’t get these results… it isn’t even a prisoners dilemma?! As in, the “selfish” option - picking red - is clearly aligned with the good of the group (no one has to die)! I wonder if the answers would be different if it hadn’t used politically coded colours?

Poll question from my 12yo: Everyone responding to this poll chooses between a blue pill or red pill. - if > 50% of ppl choose blue pill, everyone lives - if not, red pills live and blue pills die Which do you choose?

@gmiller @JoshuaRueb85231 Maybe it’s generational then. When I was talking to art classes about your book in the mid 00s the only objections I heard were from Christians and, more often, from a feminist perspective. I’m sure it’s very different now though

@JoshuaRueb85231 I think the censoriousness is almost entirely from the woke Left, not the religious right. I've never had any trouble from Christian students, even when teaching evolutionary psychology or behavior genetics.

Here's the current reality of American college life: If you're a professor teaching a course on evolution to 100 students, & you mention that two sexes evolved, an average of 27 of those students will be offended, & think they should report you to college administrators for hate speech.
William Costello@CostelloWilliam

“27 percent (of students) believe in reporting a professor if they say “biological sex is a scientific fact. There are two sexes, male and female.” 😳 thehill.com/homenews/educa…
