...I can't submit a SA just in case as I don't have a code to unlock access to it, which btw is a weird prerequisite, so will have wait a week for that to arrived via post (why not a validated email address?). Can't talk to anyone for advice as no answer, so what now, a penaltly?
@HMRCcustomers I waited on the phone to the call center yesterday and also today for a hour and then got kicked off without anyone answering. I have a letter saying I need to do a self-assessment although your online check suggested I didn't need to i.e. contradicting, I'm stuck!
@RoyalMailHelp it's now been one week that Royal Mail have been ignoring my DMs on X, it's suddenly becomr radio silence, is this normal practice when someone is questioning why their tracked 48hr parcel is showing as 15 days overdue and still undelivered?

5yrs since I sued Facebook.
4yrs since they settled (for £3m to charity).
4yrs since the online harms white paper (still not law)
18mth since they agreed to inc scams in it.
1 day since first deep fake scam ad I've seen
Yet we've still
NO proper laws
NO proper regulation
NO proper fines for big tech who get paid to publish these criminal ads
NO mention of when things will improve
NO sign of the promised online advertising programme to help
It isn't good enough. Vulnerable people are being scammed, lifes are being ruined, and people are totally unprotected.

He’s sent an email to 1.2 million customers saying this
“I am just hoping that whoever runs the country has integrity, is good at balancing the books and has a genuine social conscience - someone who acknowledges the unfairness of growing inequality as well as the danger this poses to social cohesion and happiness. I would also love our leader/s to please sort the disgraceful state of housing for far too many non-homeowners, as well as the NHS’s and the criminal justice system’s problems while they are at it… And when I say ’sort’ I obviously mean ‘invest as necessary’, including paying the real living wage as a minimum to allow working people to live decently, and banning evil zero-hour contracts when imposed on workers against their will. And don’t get me started on the water monopolies…”

#2 - A simple message in the log in page to refer to emailed credentials would have helped.
