By the window, he’s mid-chapter.. until she appears with a camera too big for her ambition, “Oncle, don’t move!” she commands. He complies, faintly amused.. less uncle now, more exhibit in a very serious one-child gallery.

@lapoetries I think I needed to hear that, actually.. so I’ll take it as a win. Well yes, hospital life does lean towards the brutal side, which makes being home feel almost suspiciously peaceful. And please, just Alan will do.. ‘sir’ sounds like I should be far more responsible lol.
@Ianguishers It is a win, feeling better than days before is always a win. Oof, must be good. Working at the hospital can be brutal most of the time, salute to you, sir. Aww, hello, mum! Must be nice to be at home.
🖤 | Ever find yourself in that peculiar sort of quiet where even your thoughts seem to have clocked off? Dreadfully dull, I know. I’m presently in that very state. If you are too, do come keep me company. Misery, after all, does adore a bit of company.

@litarequiem I’ll take that as a cautious yes. I’ll make it easy for you. No pressure, just coffee and a walk, and we’ll see if those seven seconds work in our favour.
@Ianguishers I’m the best at running from things I’m afraid to face. Like a walk and coffee with someone I just met, I’d probably spit ‘do you know first impressions form in 7 seconds?’ nonsenses. But sure, shoot your shot and verify it.
@lushloomed Two months is impressive procrastination, I must say lol. What book is it, anyway? I’m on a short break from the hospital, back in my hometown visiting my parents.. enjoying the rare luxury of not being on call.
@MERAMYAMU I like this. Confident navigation skills paired with a willingness to get lost. That’s either very reassuring or mildly concerning, I haven’t decided which yet.

I'm good at reading direction, yet where'll we go? Anyway, I'm okay with the idea of getting lostㅡsince I've been unemployed recently.

It'll be nice if we can just punch it out, you know? But if it were me, I wouldn't want to be alone either. I'll just find someone to hang out with.

If I may know, what is one thing you always carry around in your bag, and cannot function well without? Except phones. 💛

@Ianguishers It’d be unfortunate not to witness a pink moon with a new friend I came across on a random Tuesday. However, if you’ve already made up your mind with the safe option, I have no objections! As long as you’re not quick to notice that my company doesn’t help much.
@lapoetries ‘Better a little bit than before’ is still progress, I’ll count that as a win for you. Mine’s been fairly peaceful too, I’ve taken a week off from the hospital and I’m back home visiting my mum, which is a nice change of scenery.
