Meeting a lot of masculine Christian lads in Glasgow right now. Strong, grounded, training hard, staying fit, there are more of us here than people realise from all over the UK and let me tell you something straight. We’re not just lifting weights and praying quietly. We’re battle ready, the modern church might preach a soft version of our God, turn the other cheek, love everyone, never fight back. That’s fine for peacetime but we remember the other side, we remember the Crusades, we remember when Christian men stood in the gap, sword in hand because the alternative was annihilation. It runs in the blood and the system wants you to forget it, the incentive is obvious, when the time comes, when the sleeper cells wake up, when the pressure finally snaps, you will feel the wrath of God’s soldiers.

Codswallop from Starmer - we never said we’d ‘join’ US strikes on Iran, but that like Australia & others supported action because of the nuclear threat. We DID consistently say we would have permitted the US to use our bases - a position the PM now holds after yet another u-turn.
Beth Rigby@BethRigby

Starmer really going in on Badenoch on changing position on war. 'If she were PM we would be in war & she would be coming to parly to say sorry I got that wrong. PM says it's "deeply embarrassing". He then pivots to criticism of Reform's flip-flopping on entering the war (as I documented in my timeline y'day when I asked Farage about it).

@GoodwinMJ What a shock, Matt gets his arse handed to him and rather than thinking that people don't like him, he jumps straight to a Trumpian style claim that he only lost because of 'cheating'. The result was democracy in action, sending a firm rejection of reform's hateful message.

The BAFTAs discourse is showing me that a lot of people don’t see slurs as a form of abuse. If you have a disorder or condition that causes you to harm others, you shouldn’t be in certain spaces. And it’s not ableist to say that. It’s about protecting everyone

Morning all, except to you ableist twats, who this morning are seriously suggesting exclusion and segregation for disabled people, while claiming the psychic power of mind reading.

@Alexarmstrong In our town, it’s because people don’t pick up their dog’s shit, so they are banned from using the part the field that’s used for playing football, or in another case banned from the whole recreation area that contains a kids playground, a nursery school and skate park.

@ZiaYusufUK Do it. Anyone who excludes people like this should not receive a penny from the taxpayer. This should be extended to venues that cancel people as well.

Bangor University have banned Reform and called us “racist, transphobic and homophobic”. Bangor receives £30 million in state funding a year, much of which comes from Reform-voting taxpayers. I am sure they won’t mind losing every penny of that state funding under a Reform government. After all, they wouldn’t want a racist’s money would they?
