My bet is that come May 6 Reform does better than the 21% Lord Ashcroft’s poll predicts ( a new low for Farage) and that the Tories do worse than 21%. Nevertheless, Nigel should show he’s the bigger man and open talks with Kemi after next month’s election.

Police seize 11kg of rat and antelope meat that 'poses serious health risks' in southeast London raid
A 51-year-old man was arrested following the raid
He has been released under investigation.
Officers from the Food Standard Agency’s NFCU worked together with Metropolitan Police’s Peckham Rye Safer Neighbourhood Team to carry out the raid.
Bushmeat is wild animal meat that has been hunted, often from species found in tropical regions.
Illegally imported meat bypasses the rigorous safety and hygiene checks required for food sold in the UK and can carry diseases and contaminants that put consumers at risk. David Toms-Sheridan, Head of Investigations at NFCU said: “The NFCU has been working closely with the Metropolitan Police Service and other Subject Matter Experts to identify those suspected of being involved in this criminality.
“This operation forms part of the NFCU’s ongoing work to disrupt the illegal meat trade and prevent unsafe products from reaching the public.“The FSA advises consumers not to buy or eat illegally imported meat, including bushmeat, as it may pose serious health risks. If you have concerns about products being sold, contact your local authority.
“We remain vigilant to the threat of illegal meat entering the food chain and will continue to take action to protect the public."

No point calling Green supporting young men and women ‘Marxists’ or ‘indoctrinated’ or ‘hard-left’. Some are, fine. Most aren’t. Most are just feeling patronised, insulted and neglected by an establishment that quite evidently doesn’t care about them. It hasn’t for a very long time. We all know that. They see the system doesn’t work for them, and they’re reacting to it. Democratically and fairly. Do I think Polanski will solve their problems? No. No I do not. Do I understand why they’re searching for an answer? Yes. Absolutely. Our job is to offer them an alternative option that they feel speaks for them. Polanski has done that, to be fair. Our job is to make sure Restore Britain does the same, but from a very different position. One that rewards their hard work, protects our borders, and unapologetically puts aspirational young British men and women at the very top of our agenda. One that provides skilled jobs which pay well, a path to living in a decent home in a safe neighbourhood - the opportunity to build a family. That’s what Restore Britain is aiming to do. Millions of young Brits are already backing that message. It’s wonderful to see. The argument against Polanski can be won, but only with a positive vision. Not patronising insults. Restore Britain has that vision.

Further to my earlier post, I am now sat in A&E in Torbay Hospital.
Thank you to all the people who told me the Optician WOULD NOT have informed me to attend Hospital to get my eye problem looked at. He did.
Thank you also to all the people who said I was making the whole story up. I'm not.
Thanks to the people who said that EVERY Hospital has specialist eye treatment centres. They dont.
Thank you to those who suggested I drive 50 miles to a cottage hospital that couldn't have helped to diagnose the problem. They obviously cannot.
Thank you to all the people who have never had eye problems but appear to believe they are experts in Opthalmology. They aren't.
Thank you to the few people who told me I should contact my GP despite them being closed until Tuesday morning.
Thank you to all the people who tried to fill in the gaps to the original story by making up their own bits that didn't actually happen.
And thank you to the people who continue to insist they are absolutely right about everything they've written despite them being 100% incorrect.
