Reform, Restore and even the Green Party are desperate to be the "voice of the working class" while being ran by the most elite, privileged and out of touch people in politics.

Posting videos of volunteers of *any party* without their consent is a pretty shitty thing to do. It’s an unwritten rule in politics, perhaps news to people who are new to the game, but you never attack the volunteers. They’re the bedrock of our democracy.

And this is why, in an age where we expect everything to happen immediately, there are some things that just need more time and switching horses before the plan bakes gives you the worst of all worlds. There will be blips … always are… but how about we stop wishing the worst on ourselves.

National borrowing is falling faster than expected. Inflation is down. Interest rates are falling. Real wages are improving. And the U.K. is the fastest growing of the wealthiest countries in Europe. Step by step, we’re getting our economy back on track.
Institute for Fiscal Studies@TheIFS

Today’s public finance figures show borrowing is falling, and falling even faster than forecast back in November. This is important: the Chancellor’s plan for meeting her fiscal rules is predicated on borrowing falling significantly this year and next.

"I'm telling you Theo, this is *exactly* how the average bourgeois living room looks in the suburbs and home counties." "You don't think the folding table and bakelite radio might be a bit out of date? It looks like Wallace and Gromit brought to life." "I've been reading lots of theory and apparently that show is how they live. Trust me."

This week something rare happens - the start of Lent and Ramadan coincide. For both Christians and Muslims, it’s a time of fasting, prayer and renewal. While some may choose to focus on our differences, in London we’ll be united by our desire to deepen our connections with what matters most. Wishing peace and blessings to everyone observing Lent and Ramadan this year, all over the world.

Today's ruling on the EHRC's interim guidance is a disappointing, confusing and mixed picture. A trans woman visiting a café can use the women's toilets, but if she works there she might not be able to. Once again everyday life is being made a legal labyrinth for trans people.
Good Law Project@GoodLawProject

The High Court has ruled on our challenge to the EHRC’s interim guidance. The judgment contains some good news for trans rights – but plenty of bad. Read our analysis goodlawproject.org/update/high-co…

This is the definition of a ‘useful idiot’. Defending a regime which brutalises and murders women. A regime which has been attempting to assassinate people on UK streets for defending the Iranian people. Propagandist for the Ayatollahs.
Bushra Shaikh@Bushra1Shaikh

U.S. sanctions on Iran and Israel’s clear pressure have backfired. External pressure hasn't produced the expected collapse in support, but instead, has reinforced national solidarity, contrary to how outlets like Sky News portray public sentiment.
