@Ogechee_ @CyberRealm_HQ @jay_hunts @cyberjeremiah I recently came across GRC while going through the SOC path on TryHackMe, & I realized how important the GRC team is in cyb.
They help manage policies, governance, risk & compliance to ensure orgs follow regulations while defensive & offensive security teams carry out their op.

Yesterday I attended a GRC deep dive session under @CyberRealm_HQ featuring @jay_hunts as our guest, and it was really amazing.
I have heard that having the knowledge of GRC is important regardless of the path you choose in cybersecurity and in this session I saw how grc is applied to other areas like pentesting because at the end of the day the vulnerabilities you find as a pentester should be linked back to a policy or standard.
