Happy Earth Day! It seems like a good day to re-enter the social media sci-comm world. Here I am, now as a member of @theAGU 2024-24 Voices for Science cohort! VfS is a year-long sci-comm program. Members choose between the Communication track or the Policy track (my choice!).

I am stunned at @benandjerrys post about Land Back and returning the Black Hills. Usually even the most “progressive” brands will only offer lukewarm land acknowledgments and stop there. Seeing a company this big tell the real truth using this language evokes so many emotions.
