In october I splurged and got myself a 100gal @ice_barrel, so I could do #coldplunge daily. Right now it is winter, so ambient temperatures are keeping it cold. Come april I will install chiller. youtube.com/watch?v=TKG8fQ…

I've started regular #coldexposure a year ago – in January'22. At the time it was daily ice-buckets outside, followed by cold showers in the spring and summer. Best things I did to my health in the recent years, since quitting 2-malboros-pack a day smoking 11 years ago.

January was a cold exposure challenge. Rules — dump a bucket of cold water on yourself. I bet my neighbors were having some good laughs seeing me doing this in negative 33f (same in Celsius, this is where both meet). #coldplunge

@roblabonne I’m Wyatt founder of Ice Barrel. Saunas and Ice bath have been around for a long time, the west is just slow to adopt. I founded Ice Barrel in 2017 when it was super fringe in the west but very popular in Europe. It just hasn’t been accessible to most people. That’s changing.

If you’ve adapted to the cold, switch it up so you will get the same physical/mental response. Here are tips from @EricHinman: Get in moving water. Dunk every 30 seconds. Lower the temp. Extend the time. Get to the point where you start to shiver. Do at least 11 min week ⚡️🙌
