For those who are confused Jim carrey went into retirement after Sonic 2 was finished. He stated he would not come out of retirement again. He also said word for word "if I come back, it's not me." Also remember Jim Carrey HATED reward ceremonies and any red carpets. He also openly stated that Hollywood was hiding stuff from us and desensitizing us slowly by making bad things, common in movies. Then all of a sudden he appeared at this gala. His face was COMPLETELY different. Reminder, Jim Carrey was against plastic surgery and he loved his aging facial expressions. Anyway, this "Jim Carrey" appeared at some red carpet event and was being all friendly with the cameras, saying he loved the red carpet, saying that he saw everyone getting plastic surgery so he got it. His voice was also entirely different and he said it was because he got depressed and took lots of medication so it damaged his vocal cords which is a bit of a stretch- this "Jim Carrey" also said something to the camera that weirdly caught peoples attention. He said something !.I'm dead.." and annunciated that specific part of the sentence more than anything else he said that day. look up Jim Carry then vs now. You'll understand.
