@herrmanndigital Amen to that. Always a pleasure every time I visit. 626 and LA with the best Asian food 👌
English

@broukhim @herrmanndigital @LaurenGruel @FabFitFun @KatieAKitchens Reached out via email—would love to coordinate efforts. We’re also trying to increase ground game to help with distribution 🙏
English

@herrmanndigital @LaurenGruel We are putting products, brands, packaging them in boxes for distribution to displaced. @FabFitFun @KatieAKitchens leading our effort
English

Many founders and operators follow me. There is an urgent need right now for supplies for the thousands of displaced families in Los Angeles.
Footwear, Clothing, Soap / Toiletries to name just a few items.
I'm in contact with @LaurenGruel who is coordinating everything and getting the supplies to the @LADreamCenter and other areas where people are staying.
I know a lot of the businesses have warehousing in the LA area. Can we help?
English

@herrmanndigital Messaged you via LinkedIn-not usually on x but would love to coordinate efforts!
English

@herrmanndigital David, thank you for all you’re doing!
We’ve reached out some brands to help and are trying to join forces with FabFitFun as they’re also putting together these care packages
Please let us know how we can help with your initiatives, we’re trying to increase the ground game 🙏
English

We can top this. I personally know a ton of protein bar and energy drink brands that follow me. Who can step up. There are thousands of firefighters out here helping nonstop. I’ll call you out and even do a video for you of me giving things out for your pr if you so chose to want that.
I’ll also drop these off personally if need be.
Lauren Gruel@LaurenGruel
More positive news. I put a call to action out last night on my IG after seeing numerous posts on here requesting protein bars for the firemen. I tagged a few brands and got a response from a great brand, Simply Protein who will be donating 100-200 bars!!! 🙌🏼

@harleyf @Shopify Love this!
It would also be pretty cool to have like hubs or groups based on the milestones to give founders a place to bounce and share ideas
Another thought(although more work) would be having a more intimate hub setting like YPO of 8-10 founders in different industries 👀
English

No one sees the effort it takes to get your first order, your first thousand orders, or your first 10,000 orders… but we do at @shopify.
Today, we’re releasing the 10,000 Order Shopify Milestone 🏆
Because 10,000 orders is a really big deal.
English

@harleyf Glad to have started with Shopify instead of any other platform…
The UI and functionalities from other platforms just can’t compare… We’ve had conversations with founders who constantly complain about other platforms but hesitate to swap 🤷♂️

I took a break from Twitter for the last year to breathe and work on my main business that I've been building offline since 2021 -- Saucy 🚚
I haven't formally announced it on Twitter besides a couple replies here and there, but under Saucy, I launched a custom packaging manufacturing business called Paking Duck 🐤 with the goal of helping brands save $$ on their packaging needs
My thesis for Paking Duck was simple:
1) Most brands get their packaging from their core product supplier (who then marks up to sell to the brand)
2) As a result of #1, most brands are overpaying for their packaging
3) 100% of the brands in the world will need some form of packaging
While I was in China, I worked with 2 factories to acquire equity in their business, to expand their operations outside of China.
Through Paking Duck 🐤 Brands can get transparent and factory-direct pricing, and work with a team that are ex-merchants and understands your specific needs.
Here are some stuff that we've produced so far:
If you have any packaging needs and is curious about cost savings that we can give you, please don't hesitate to give me a shout :)
I'll be back on Twitter to yap about all things manufacturing and giving you guys a behind the scenes look at how packaging is made.

@ichuseyou Connections matter build your network consistently for unexpected opportunities
English

@ichuseyou How did you Econ store end eventually? Did you sell it or you still run it now?
English

A couple years ago;
I sold $120K in 2.5 weeks using fb ads.
Photo attached as proof.
(Ignore my face lol)
But just a couple months before then?
I plateaued.
But I got back up and signed a six figure deal.
How?
Well I attended an event.
It was a networking event with:
Creators.
Agency owners.
Ecom brand owners.
High ticket businesses.
The host of this event asked me what I did.
I told him I had an ecom store and ran the ads myself.
Then I showed him the results
And he was blown away.
Somehow my results spread and a lot of people picked interest in me.
One I could remember at the time was Thomas.
He had a TikTok UGC agency and he was impressed with my results.
A few days later;
Thomas (@itsthomasma) reached back out to me;
He said;
“I saw your numbers and I know you’re good at what you do, but what do you think of this client?”
The client was an instagram influencer with 20M followers.
She ran a clothing line.
And they needed a marketing specialist for paid ads.
So they brought me on.
A few months later;
We got her a 20X return on ad spend.
Meaning that for every $1 she put in, she got $20 out.
This was across all testing and scaling campaigns.
Other people saw it.
Thomas saw the results behind the screen.
Since then, I’ve had a ton of quality clients thrown my way.
Never had to chase clients or send a DM.
Right now?
I’m extremely picky with the clients I work with.
The lesson?
Get good at what you do, connect with the right people and you’ll have a ton of opportunities thrown your way.
Also, be grateful for the opportunities that come your way.
Thank you, @itsthomasma.
And thanks for reading.

@ichuseyou Did you ever consider create a customer loyalty program for them?
English

@thedankoe In essence.
It's not about how fast but how well.
To make it easier;
Delegate the 80% that doesn't bring in the $.
You can even use systems (Automations)
Smart work it is.
English

@thejustinwelsh A reminder to never base your content + writing on pleasing the Algo.
Instead focus on impacting people.
The Algo changes but human psychology doesn't.
English

@thevirgilbrew It's about that ONE unique thing you can do to change the life of people.
English

@thedankoe Personal thoughts = Outer feelings + results.
Think negative, attract negatives.
Think positive, attract positives.
