"With everything you've been through, why are you still smiling?" Recently, I went to re- loc a client's hair. Yes, aside from being a Virtual Assistant and an AI Automation Specialist, I also lock hair. While I was working on his hair, we got into a deep conversation. At some point, he told me that none of his children would ever have to start from scratch the way he did. As he spoke, I listened carefully, expecting to hear stories of how he struggled through life. But then he told me he attended one of the best universities in his country and got a good job after graduation. So I smiled and said, "You didn't exactly start from scratch. Your parents gave you something valuable, a quality education." Because his opinion was coming from the point that he has alot of rich friends whose parents bought them cars, owned a company like according to him they didn't actually stress for anything. Then I shared a little of my own story. I told him how I used to hawk while growing up. How I had to stop in SS2 so I could work and raise money for my WAEC and transportation. How since my ND days, I've been paying my school fees, handling my bills, and contributing financially to my family. Even now, my mum isn't feeling too well and is currently staying with me. I've been helping with hospital visits and doing my best to support the family. Then he paused, looked at me, and asked: "With everything you've been through, why are you still smiling?" I smiled and replied: "Why wouldn't I be?" I believe we all came into this world for a purpose. Life may not start the same way for everyone, but with God, hard work, and determination, we can still become everything we're meant to be. One thing I've learned is that no matter how much you've been through, there is always someone whose story will humble you. So instead of comparing struggles, choose gratitude. Don't let your challenges make you bitter. Let them make you stronger. Keep showing up. Keep believing. Your story is still being written. And I was really glad that at the end he said I've actually changed his perspective about life.

My company recently gave out Keke to five riders 3 Hausa and two of my Igbo brothers. The hire purchase was 6.5m, to remit 60k every week. Mind you, other companies charge 70-80k on 7.5m hire purchase, My guys knew this. For the first month, they remitted normally every Friday. Then I noticed one of them, who is even from my side, started misbehaving. He wouldn’t remit until Sunday. I pretended as if I didn’t know what was going on. Like play like play, two other riders in his badge started doing the same thing and it because a habit.Maybe he felt i wont notice. I remember my PA calling to remind me that the Igbo guy hadn’t paid for one week and he didn’t even call to give reasons why. One day we calculated and it was two weeks he stylised didn't pay. Their Keke isn’t up to 6 months oooo. So early last month, I called the five of them to my office. They came. I collected all their keys and told them to leave my office. But before they left, I called the two who had no issues and handed them back their keys. The Igbo guy went and brought his mother with the 120k he had defaulted on, crying, begging, saying he won’t do it again. Today makes it one month and one weeks since I gave him back the Keke and he has not defaulted since. Including the Hausa guys he had corrupted. If you don’t install discipline early, human beings will think you are weak. I actually seized the Keke for one week despite his mother’s plea. The same Igbo guy who started this whole thing called me this morning, just to say hello 🤣🤣 that he wants to greet me and my family. You see human being eh.
