In the past 9 months, Angel Fierro has pulled out of his rematch with Isaac Cruz on the day they were supposed to weigh in, got disqualified for kicking an opponent in the groin during the 3rd round of a tune-up fight & come in 3.4 pounds overweight today for his fight against Oscar Duarte on the David Benavidez-Gilberto Ramirez undercard Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena. The Duarte-Fierro fight will move forward. Duarte made weight (139.8), just as he did for his IBF 140-pound title fight against Richardson Hitchins fight, which was canceled the day they were supposed to fight February 21st because Hitchins was too sick to box.
