We have removed Kled from the Nigerian app store and IP banned the entire region. The first thing I would like to say is I have nothing against Nigeria. I have a ton of friends from this region and these were some of our earliest app adopters. Genuinely, thank you all for the support. Kled has been up and running and out of beta for 4 months now. We have paid out hundreds of thousands of people for their data, and our users have uploaded over 1 billion assets onto our platform. After several months of uploads we found that Nigeria had a ≈95% fraud rate. Instead of real, usable data, users were uploading pictures of black screens, duplicate photos, internet generated images, AI generated images, etc. at an unimaginable scale. In comparison, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines have a less than 10% fraud rate across 10x the userbase size. Our fraud system is fast to catch these issues but the level of complexity of these schemes is getting out of hand. This weekend we were flooded with thousands of fake Japanese passports and identity cards with Nigerians photoshopped onto them in our KYC system. That was the final straw. As a startup we can't afford to eat the costs of that data overhead, so we temporarily removed the app from the region while we improved our fraud detection and banning system to quickly filter out bad actors when the time is right. On top of all of this, every time we make a post there is someone asking us to bring the region back within seconds. We hear you, but it's gotten out of hand. We've made this decision with great care. We love everyone who has genuinely supported Kled from Nigeria, and we hope to return when the time is right. -Kled Team

Personally, at the rate we are going, if a police officer shoots an innocent unarmed Nigerian, such officer must be caught and killed on the spot. We cannot continue to expect an unjust system to punish criminals and murderers in uniform.

Datti said: " Obi should have stayed to fix LP's problems" What Obi knows (which Datti would admit, if he wasn't emotions driven) is that you can't fix problems designed by external plants. When the problems you're facing are orchestrated by demonic infiltrations, your efforts to "fix" are dead on arrival. This is the same reason the ADC exit was necessary. You will be so busy "fixing" party issues when the real work to be done is slipping away. But I know better than to judge a Datti by a 4 mins interview. He recommended Kwankwaso. When the decision was eventually made, he wasn't "carried along". He's human, he's allowed to feel. Obi has had so much riding on him for the past months, political permutations - he's human and he's allowed to be unable to miss that notification. There was no disrespect in that interview. Just a brutally opinionated Datti (a feature we've always admired) who still had respect for his principal. Piling on Datti is unnecessary and is foolishly fuelling possible distractions. Cut him some slack. Datti is one of us. Will always be.

The fact that we are an oil producing country is what makes it even more insane. Iran is miles away from Nigeria but somehow we’re buying fuel for 1,400 meanwhile a country like Turkiye which is in close proximity to the war hasn’t had that much increase in price of fuel.
king Berry karter, MBA@kingberrykarter

Nigerians are buying fuel for #1,400, and everyone is quiet, like it’s normal???? What is Tinubu doing with our subsidy money??? In a country where minimum wage is 70,000 naira?? You people don’t know how insane that is. If I earn 100k a month nd it takes 4 litres of fuel daily to get to and fro work, I’ll spend 112k on fuel alone every month. U don’t believe me? Let’s do the math. Price of 1 litre of fuel = ₦1,400 Fuel per day = 4 litres Daily fuel cost = 4 × 1,400 = ₦5,600 5 days a week for 4 weeks in a month: Working days per month = 5 × 4 = 20 days Total fuel cost = ₦5,600 × 20 = ₦112,000 So if I dey use 4ltrs go work everyday, I go spend 112k, a month!!! How are Nigerians surviving? How many people even dey use 4ltrs go work everyday? Tinubu has ruined the country, and there are people still campaigning for that piggg!!!

You know how people sometimes say, ones you are born in Nigeria, life is leading you by 2:0 already, its exactly how i feel about making heaven as a Nigerian assuming heaven actually exist, the moment you come from Nigeria, the probability of going to hell is already 80%, again, assuming hell does exist. The country does not support good deeds, good people suffer, good people die young, good people beg, good people lack opportunities, good people are oppressed. You have to derail from morality to achieve alot.

They arrested a nurse because she complained about the condition of our healthcare. The Nigerian police is the most useless institution. Tell them to arrest someone and they will.

Has anyone noticed that ever since Tinubu, the NADECO dictator rigged his way into power, nobody has been able to criticize anything in Nigeria without being picked up by the police, Army, DSS etc? Our democracy has gone to the dogs under APC. End APC or APC will end you.

In Enugu State, everyone is afraid of being arrested. The blind student that exposed UNN hotel was evicted from hostel and detained. Afia TV Jojrnalist that went to cover stinking hostels in UNN was arrested and detained. Joy Ezugwu that showed how bad Uwani General Hospital is was suspended from school and arrested by the police. One Chukwujinkem Ugwuanyi that spoke against Nwoke AirPod and his political gymnastics was arrested and sent to prison for months. There’re many more cases of abuses by the government and people in power. In all of this, Governor is silent, both Commissioners of Health and Education are silent, because they’re all involved.

Anytime a western country wants to trend, it does that by de-marketing Nigerians. That nonsense has to stop. Nigerians, you better sit up and stop allowing this Silicon Valley failures use you to do marketing. Call out the creators, Nigerian or any nationality that will join hand to shade this country. No country on earth runs organized crime like America . Everybody knows that, it’s in their movies and news and shows. But it pays them to paint Nigeria as bad. Start re writing your history. Rewrite your story. Don’t let another thief tell your story. He will always look like the victim Nobody should have the guts to call 200m thieves ever again. NIGERIANS- STAND UP FOR YOURSELF
