gm Terrace community, We understand many of you are disappointed and frustrated with yesterday's launch. We share your concerns and take full responsibility for the challenges we faced. This announcement aims to: 1. Explain what transpired during the launch 2. Outline our immediate product focus 3. Detail our plan to rebuild value for TRC token holders What Happened Day 1 was not ideal. There was significant, immediate, sell pressure following the Gate airdrop, followed by continued sell pressure from some members of the Fjord community. We have confirmed that there was no selling by the Treasury and team, and limited to no selling by Market Makers and Investors. We are still investigating the reason for this delay. By the time the Aerodrome pool was created, $TRC had fallen ~65%. Facing this situation, our team made the difficult decision to stop funding the Aerodrome pool. We did this to: 1. Not lock in losses at a 65% drawdown 2. Preserve operational runway to ensure we can deliver our promised product Product Focus Terrace is building something truly innovative - a platform that bridges DeFi and CeFi with unprecedented liquidity depth in one venue. This hasn't been done before, and we remain committed to this vision. Concrete Deliverables & Value Accrual We are committing to an accelerated product roadmap: * Spot trading platform launch by April 15th (with a goal of end of March) * Perpetuals trading complete by June For token holders specifically, we're thinking through specific product benefits/perks we can incorporate to show we appreciate your patience. We will be sharing these soon, so please stay tuned for announcements here. Moving Forward We'll be hosting an AMAs on Twitter, Telegram, and Discord this week to address all community questions directly. Additionally, we're establishing a weekly update schedule to maintain transparency as we work toward these deliverables. We believe that shipping a quality product is the only real solution to the issues experienced during today's launch.
