Hillel is not a foreign government office or a political lobbying arm. For many Jewish students, it is the primary space on campus where they gather for identity, culture, faith, holidays, counseling, community, and safety.
Targeting a Jewish campus organization because it affirms Jewish identity is not about policy disagreement. It crosses a line into the exclusion of Jewish students from campus life.
That is unacceptable. Period.
