Corporate boyfriend with artsy girlfriend was my favorite relationship. He paid for many of my art projects & loved creating with me and watching me. recently my parents, whose first language is spanish, and i (ESL also) spent an entire day trying to remember the spanish word for “bowl.” none of the google translate results felt right. we still aren’t sure. we landed on: ból. and people say assimilation is impossible
