Many thanks to all who understand my “momentum” post from before the stream was from a place of wanting to do good by this community, playerbase, and team.
Bummer another word/phrase will be used to mock me directly and personally, but I’d rather that than folks hounding other team members directly who are trying to solve the problems.
Speaking for myself, I truly do hope we shift and build momentum. I hope we kick ass and put out awesome fucking content. I understand that words don’t mean much when folks desire action. “We’re listening” needs to be “we’re doing” and “we’ve done.”
Team is jamming. Things won’t be fixed overnight with a roadmap or with a single change. We’ve got lots of work to do. Hopefully, update after update, we get things to where we want them to be - and beyond that. I hope for a day where we are once again celebrating the new stuff. The universe, the loot, the community, and more. Not just talking about a hotfix to get us closer to the game feeling fun again.
My words weren’t/aren’t meant to be a PR move or marketing ploy. Just speaking from the heart.

It sucks that we’ve been unable to build positive momentum. Too many bumps in the road and missteps.

It is almost like the expansion has no new content that can be repeatedly ran for better rewards and power level grind. You finish campaign and then you have to run portal activities (which are old activities) to power level.

So, we are 9 days into a new D2 Expansion, and there are less people playing the game now (59,861 players) than a month into Episode Heresy (67,473 players). Five-Alarm Fire sirens had better be going off inside Bungie HQ, because this kind of player drop off is BAD BAD.

@chibirobo12 I definitely feel this when I did the campaign on fable I didn’t get no loot whatsoever just the handcannon which is guarantee from doing the full campaign kinda makes me no want to try mythic

Bungie is 100% on the path to fatigue players.
You SHOULD guarantee tier 4 loot from normal raids with a chance of tier 5.
Also this "Feat" system just should enhance HOW MANY drops per-encounter vs. what tier the loot.
Epic Raid (if it's like master or higher)- Should guarantee Tier 5 loot and rain drops each encounter.
