Just got to know the amount paid for divorce “settlement” by my friend, a startup founder, for a marriage that lasted only 8 months. His entire savings corpus so far is gone! At 33, he will be starting all over again from scratch. Only reason - incompatibility. Women - pls stop doing this! 🙏This is so so wrong! Kisi ko nahi falta ese galat tarike se kamaya hua paisa.

Our book launch took place sometime back. It went wonderfully well. To start with the venue was Title Waves, a large format bookshop in Bandra. It was a fantastic place to have a book launch event. All of us spent some time browsing through the multiple genres of books that were on display, in this cozy book shop. We had a full house with wonderful participation from all. Our clients, well-wishers, industry colleagues, friends, etc. were all in attendance. It started with a book unveiling after which we had a panel discussion. The panel discussion was the highlight of the evening, with most people appreciating the wonderful insights that came out during the discussion. Then there was book signing… I signed a remarkable number of books that day! Thank you all for the love and solidarity. Our book has since climbed the Bestseller list on Amazon in various categories, all thanks to patronage and support from well-wishers like you all! The biggest one: not disclosing incentives to recommend products, such as commissions or equity stakes. It’s extremely important and needs to be addressed ASAP. Related is, not disclosing qualifications to give advice.

Every time someone wears a designer garment, Indian or western, they proudly show off who styled them and who they are wearing. Let’s all do this when we wear our own handloom sarees too. Credit the state and craft. Build awareness - handloom is the ultimate in “designer”.
