As some of you know I came from a not so great agency. I was never listened to, I felt very alone and all my hard work and dedication was always over lolked… I was told I would never make it numerous times and I believed that for years. SVA has shown me that I am amazing and that the way I do things is unique. I have laughed harder with them then I have in awhile, waking up to FLORK and the staff noticing my accomplishments no matter how small and always pushing me to do my best! Even the talents looking after each other and encouraging one another on projects and events we host was something I never thought was possible. I am so happy I finally have a place with such amazing people to grow with and learn from. Thank you again to SVA for giving this goober a chance! And to my goobers who stuck around for everything 💚

Honestly, it was more out of grief for Kovu, but I said I just really wanted a dog, that's all I ever really wanted, and I lost mine to Addison's Disease and indirectly caused his panic attack. I just wanted a companion to love, and if I couldn't get one, then I asked Him to take away my love for animals. A few days ago, a friend of mine reached out about a litter of puppies she said she was ready to release, and she was kind enough to offer me a huge discount. Corgis. This morning, I was randomly donated the exact amount she quoted me out of the blue. My father does care about the little things, and on top of that, Kovus vet bill was fully paid for through another community member a few days ago. Exact amount plus a bit more. I had such a roller-coaster of emotions this week, I don't even really know what to do. I cried too much, I don't have a lot of tears left, but I do feel hope now. I also have enough to fully have insurance this time with my dog. I will never have another animal without insurance again. Just blown away, and feeling 1 million things. Nothing will ever replace my big wiggle butt. But I deeply want to love another, too. . 💔
