I am not going to cop the ABC - or other left wing media - complaining that we have not done enough to guarantee petrol and diesel supplies. For years these organisations have run activist campaigns against my attempts (and others) to drill, baby, drill. They can't turn around now and whinge ... where are the fossil fuels! Maybe after an equal number of pro oil, pro gas and pro coal stories they can be forgiven, but I won't hold my breath!

Absolute gaslighting from the guy who was actually the Minister for Resources while our fuel security was hollowed out.
You can yell 'drill, baby, drill' to distract people, but you were the Minister while the LNP allowed four of our seven refineries to shut down. You sat by while Kwinana and Altona closed because your government valued 'global market efficiency' over Australian resilience. We can't use crude oil if we don't have the refineries left to turn it into diesel.
Your LNP's big 'security' solution in 2020 was to spend $94m to store 'our' oil in Texas, USA. Now that Trump’s Iran War has choked global shipping, how does oil sitting in a hole in America help an Australian farmer today?
You spent years exporting our security to the lowest bidder and now you’re blaming 'activists' because the tank is empty. Take some ministerial responsibility for the mess you helped create.
