@Ignazio7594@Tony51098@Xiaoniu6161 You’re welcome! By the way, Chiang Kai-shek’s hometown, Xikou in Zhejiang, is actually a well-known historic place. If you ever visit China, it’s worth checking out. Also, Zhejiang has many beautiful places—like West Lake in Hangzhou, which Marco Polo once described in his travels
@Ignazio7594@Tony51098@Xiaoniu6161 During the Cultural Revolution, sites linked to Chiang Kai-shek in Xikou were damaged. But there’s no solid, widely accepted evidence that his family tombs were fully excavated and the remains destroyed—those graphic claims are inconsistent and largely anecdotal.
@jiahaoju1@Tony51098@Xiaoniu6161 Who exactly were the Red Guards, and what evidence is there to prove it? There are plenty of historical documents, you should find them yourself. As for which side they belonged to, you can ask them directly.
@Tony51098@Xiaoniu6161 The person who ordered the excavation of Mao Zedong's family tomb was the warlord He Jian. However, his army could not find Mao's family tomb. Conversely, Mao's Red Guards destroyed Chiang Kai-shek's family tomb, leaving the remains to be desecrated and utterly ruined.
@Muggle_TWN@pomah2008@xu96175836@fu_qu56467 I know, I can tell just by seeing your flag. Taiwanese and Hong Kong people are different; although they are both Han Chinese, they have never liked to call themselves Chinese as people from mainland.
