Kindle vs. paper vs. audiobooks I only have one hot take around this debate. Don't read on your phone or tablet. Paper books are great. Kindle hardware is great. And audiobooks are fantastic, especially for getting in more daily walking. But reading on a phone or tablet puts distractions too close by. If you can switch over to Twitter or Slack in under a second, it's going to be hard to fully engage with what you're reading – especially with challenging material. I suppose you could also dedicate an old tablet to reading and uninstall any distracting apps. But don't use a device with apps that will pull at your attention.

@TomFrankly I'm trying to learn R by myself with a few tutorials here and there. I'm not even sure I'll need it, but it's been really challenging. Maybe I should've started with something easier. I just have a very basic notion of HTML and CSS. (and RPG Maker lol)

Learning how to code has been immensely rewarding. As a tutorial creator: "Make sure you dont skip this section or you'll break everything!" As a programmer + tutorial creator: "Oh wait, I can just write code to make this required – and way easier to understand"
