@a_jaiswal44 Well, I wasn't talking about yoga, lol. I was talking about local art forms, festivals like onam. "Over time they became integrated into hindu religious frameworks" - this means that the hindu mythological origins attached to them are false!

@Ikigaimode How this is retrofitting? Yoga was discovered by a hindu acharya before that it is not existed even same goes for classical dances there existence started from vedas & upnishads

The very fact that they have retrofitted mythological origins is proof of my point. There's no good reason for anyone to believe that mahabali actually existed in some mythologically distant era in a very distant past. We do however know that Onam is a harvest festival celebrated only in Kerala irrespective of religion. Same thing with the other fabricated mythological origins for various local art forms which belong to a specific region and more often than not isn't even practised by Hindus outside the local community. We simply don't buy the mythological origins for various Indian art forms and local festivals and we have good reason to do so.

Hmm, no. If that were the case - then single motherhood in India, children born out of wedlock and divorces should be sky high but actually aren't. Also Indians - both men and women have much lower body count on average (with a large percentage being zero or one at most before marriage) Many Indian men have the tendency to be harsh on indian women and be lenient towards western women but the truth is that women in Asia, including India are way more conservative than the west in general.

@i9241 No, it's simply coz most Indian women are decent enough to not be degens. Some women like Muskan existing (she makes abt 40 lakhs/month from premium subs in Instagram) are proof that plenty of men would absolutely pay to see Indian women if more and more such women were to exist.

@yohra_unit_4S Those who hate men should be wiped out of the gene pool. Men choosing not to marry such clowns would suffice for natural selection to act on eliminating such women. Feminism unfortunately has convinced a lot of women that men are 'useless', feminists are mentally ill folks.

A government that fears questions is not protecting the nation; it is protecting itself. @BhavikaKapoor5 @profapm @kunal492001 @Nher_who @Doc_RGM @ravinderkapur03 @DrNimoYadav The government's disability to protect the nation is clearly indicative while suppressing the VOICE OF DISSENT. A strong government will listen while an insecure government will react. When criticism is feared, they respond by silencing the critics.

St. Joseph’s Church at Thekkumbhagom in Kerala stands as a serene and enduring witness to the Catholic faith along the tranquil banks of the Ashtamudi Lake, opening out toward the vast Arabian Sea. This historic parish belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Quilon, the first Latin diocese established in South Asia, reflecting the deep antiquity of the Latin Church in this region. The roots of this parish reach back to 1547, when Portuguese missionaries arrived on these shores and proclaimed the Gospel among the local communities, especially the fisherfolk whose lives were closely tied to the sea. Their missionary efforts laid the foundation for a vibrant and enduring Christian presence. Between 1650 and 1670, a church was established here, becoming a spiritual center for the faithful. As the community grew, so too did its institutions. In 1870, a school was founded, embodying the Church’s mission to nurture both faith and learning. The church as it stands today took shape through later developments. Renovation began in 1946, and by 1958, the present structure was completed, continuing to serve generations of the faithful. Today, St. Joseph’s Church remains not only a place of worship, but a living testament to centuries of faith, missionary zeal, and the quiet devotion of its people, set against one of Kerala’s most beautiful natural landscapes. St. Joseph, Ora pro nobis ✠ Pray for the Catholic Church in Kerala ✠ Pray for the Christians in India

They only have 'hindu' origins coz the populace back then happened to be labelled as 'hindu', not because the various local art forms actually came into existence because of some mythical hindu stories they peddle. Onam and Pongal are local harvest festivals which hindus outside of Kerala and Tamil Nadu don't celebrate while Christians, muslims, atheists etc in Kerala, Tamil Nadu celebrate. So, it's simply a local cultural festival, that's all. Hindus simply have a pathological habit of cooking up and retrofitting mythological origins to various local customs, art forms etc; stories which I simply won't buy into. According to hindus, we are supposed to believe that parashurama was responsible for creating Kerala for the sake of brahmins when in reality, the nambudiri brahmins actually migrated only at about the 6th century, while civilization in Kerala thrived centuries before that, lol.

It's terrorism. Like I said, government doesn't protect people from violence, it protects itself by doing violence to the people.

Withholding accounts of everyone who speaks against the government is pure hate. We have freedom under Article 19(1)(a) . Criticising the government does not mean criticising the country. Restore @DrNimoYadav , @Nher_who This government is afraid of truth and criticism.

GOI has found a solution for all Indian problems. Nuke the accounts spreading awareness about the issue. I have not found any traction so maybe my account will survive for some more time. I don't know how fast they'll come for me. Free press was bought by their cronies. Now social media is being strangled by the government. Maybe WhatsApp will be next. If we continue in this direction, every smartphone will only be able to hear monkey bath and nothing else, no phone calls, no messages.

Bro was chilling 15 mins ago and then got nuked by GOI. From yesterday official IT celliyas keep blocking so many accounts. This is what happens when you grant powers to the government in the name of security, they will weaponize it against you for its survival. One thing is clear, modi government no longer can change the narratives by flooding the comments with their two rupees serfs because chad annons have broken their wall, so they are now going after annons now.

> "Christian insurgency dominated region" Did you mean Northeast? Fact check: In the Northeast there are more than a dozen insurgent groups proscribed as per the Ministry of Home Affairs, among them only 3 are Christian dominated, whereas 9 are Hindu dominated (which includes 6 Meitei VBIGs). All insurgent groups are ethno-centric, some use religious war cry slogans, but that's just for boosting the morale of the cadres. For example insurgents belonging to Koch ethnicity often use the slogan "Jai Maa Bhawani", but their ideology is not related to forming a Hindu theocratic state, instead it's ethnic interests. In the late 1960s, NSCN chief Muivah led a group of Naga insurgents on a grueling trek through Myanmar to China. There, he received extensive political and military training from the Chinese Communist Party. This resulted in the local Naga Church leadership accusing them of being "godless communists." To counter this severe PR problem and win the backing of the deeply religious Naga public, the NSCN vigorously emphasized its commitment to "Nagaland for Christ," eventually making it their official manifesto slogan, however it was a well known fact that in Muivah was more commited to Maoist ideology over the Christian rhetoric he used for PR, and the NSCN led by Muivah had killed more Christians (especially Kukis) than non-christians. During a 2005 BBC Interview with Thuingaleng Muivah, when questioned about the slogan "Nagaland for Christ" and asked directly whether the proposed Naga state would be a theocracy, Muivah explicitly denied it. He clarified that the slogan was widely misunderstood by outsiders. He explained that "Nagaland for Christ" is not a legal framework or a constitutional mandate, but rather an aspiration reflecting the demographic reality of the Naga people, who are overwhelmingly Christian. He explicitly stated: "The Naga State has to be secular; if it is not secular, then we would be betraying ourselves."

I've always wondered how one army officer with a record of service in an Christian insurgency dominated region was able to live a comfortable life in the US. Some questions just answer themselves these days. *Any semblance to people alive or dead are purely coincidental.
