@quentinquirex @supermeruz I was more pointing at the fact Kurt made that an actual law of the island. I'd call it the worst decision Kurt made in Krakoa but he tried to make a mutant faith too that never went anywhere.

@ElderTrinadad I feel like House of M was her best crisis of Faith because it was tempting her with happiness, not despair. Seeing if your faith can survive conflict is easier than 'can you faith survive being a barrier to something you'd like to have?'

@Turtz911 I mean, I don't think the office didn't communicate. I just think the person writing the comic didn't care because having the avengers have a legitimate reason due to their ongoing event would have fucked with the moment they wanted to write.

Y'all want Avengers to be Justice League but don't take consequences of being the defenders of the world. If they are the premier heroes then they take the blame when something big goes bad in the world. That's the job.

Unpopular opinion (?) but I hate when the X-Men do the whole "where were you guys during Genosha" thing. It feels like writers intentionally try to make other heroes like the avengers seem uncaring or ignorant so the X-Men can have a "gotcha moment". I find it so corny

@UpToTASK Sure but notably...there's never an ANSWER to the question in those X-books, despite the fact that huge events that made Genosha genuinely a footnote were ongoing. Kang was invading Literally The Entire World. Another country got the souls of its people eaten!

Nah it’s a valid question. If you were defending your home and the cops didn’t pull up you’d wanna know where they were at too. Things like this are important to X-Lore, because to remove this makes them just superheroes and it’s more than that with the X-Men. It’s political.

The fact that she LITERALLY said “we’re going to build a mutant nation”, allied herself with Namor of Atlantis, T’Challa of Wakanda, and the Avengers only for Charles and Moira to build the nation and fumble both Atlantis and Wakanda as allies 😭

The fact Jean in X-men red was like “we’re gonna do something new and never done before….you can’t even imagine what we’re about to do for mutants” and nothing happened and then Krakoa happened like almost right after completely unrelated

@Nyadnar17 @dr3amcatcher93 It it was literally any threat other than Nimrod, they'd have likely done pretty solidly. I don't see the purifiers doing too great if they didn't have the 'Sentinels can't detect us or attack us' implants.
