The outrage over the USA Men’s hockey team talking to the president and visiting the White House is hysterical to me Quinn and Jacks mom is on the USA women’s staff and they attended almost every game the woman played in Milan including Quinn at the gold medal game The men won a gold medal against a team they had no business beating in an amazing game with an over time winner exactly like the woman did and the groups were celebrating in the cafeteria together after the game. They’re crushing beers celebrating and we wanna make the whole thing political on the internet. Grow up. Visiting the white house is once in a lifetime experience despite who resides in office. They’re 20+ year olds who did something you dream of as a kid and now they’re celebrating. It’s actually shocking how decisive the internet wants to make every single event that occurs. You don’t have to be on a side for every god damn thing. It’s not a problem to be proud to be from the USA, it’s not a problem to love this country and love representing this country. I know for me, watching both the men and woman win gold I felt an insane sense of pride to be American. If you didnt you’re goofy. Not everything needs to be vilified. Shoutout the USA, two gold Medals on the Ice. Our sport. Jack Hughes is the goat.

I live in Illinois…the commercials are all political. Every democrat ad is just them saying that they hate Trump more than the other guy hates Trump…no policy ever…can’t be a winning strategy can it?

@IlliniProcess The 2 line, similar ish to the top 16, I try to stay relatively in line with how the committee viewed it during the reveal at least while we are still this close to it. A road loss at UCLA that could end up Q1A, very close, still a tourney team loss doesn’t change a ton to me

@DelphiBrackets What was the deciding factor for Illinois over Purdue? Illinois’ quad 2 loss sticks out when comparing them but I’m guessing you prioritized the head to head?

@GrahamDoeren Surprised you have Illinois over Purdue (based on the St. Louis) What was the deciding factor there? To me that quad 2 loss for Illinois sticks out like a sore thumb

🚨2/22 bracket In my bracket at this time last year, only two teams ended up seeded more than 2 seed lines different than where I had them at that time. Seeds are close to set now. Ohio St, New Mexico, VCU & Virginia Tech are the first four out.

My criticism of the Underwoods has remained static. They are going to get their points. Generational offense. They do not adjust to hold leads, which is why they blow so many 10+ leads. I’ve tried walking Illinois fans through this and they interpret as “rage bait”/BU hater

@IlliniProcess @ESPNLunardi As long as they haven’t played 3 times through the regular season + conference tournament, they can play in the round of 32 if it’s unavoidable. Same thing happened last year where 2 seed Bama could’ve played 10 seed Vandy, but Vandy lost round 1
