@PaddyPowerShops Hi Paddy Power are you planning on informing people you no longer accept stakes on golf anymore? I just had my normal £10 stakes rejected in shop and was advised Paddy Power no longer accept bets on golf and a commercial notice has been sent out nationwide.

@SBCinfo Here is a new one, went to have some small stake bets on golf in my local PP like I do every week. The coupons weren't out and was told Paddy Power received a commercial notice to no longer accept any golf bets on its coupons and don't even put the coupons out!!

@SBCinfo @RacingPost Problem is with restrictions is that sole punters get caught in the cross fires by those who have a gazillion accounts. Frankly if multi accounting wasn't so widespread the restrictions probably wouldn't be so extreme i.e operators would probably put you on a lay to lose basis.

If this isn't deemed as warranted these instances should be sent and acted upon by the UKGC for further investigation against the operator. Not enough is done ultimately

@tpcfi @SBCinfo @WilliamHill A few years ago Hills closed my account, one I'd had a few years. Fair enough. What wasn't fair was them trying to keep £600+ of my money that was in there. I complained to IBAS, and they were eventually forced by them to pay me. I was never gonna accept my £ were gone.

The operator must be scrutinised for this and get asked for a clear.........

Hills haven't asked that and had multiple 2k+ wins with them over the last month in shop

A tremendous day for the betting industry. As per @SBCinfo Sports Nation goes tits up not honouring ante post bets. That also means Red Zone Sports as per an email I have just received. Added to @paddypower asking customers for ID to collect golf winnings. What a shambles.

It’s not fascism to check if someone can afford car finance payments or a loan. Try not to buy into the hysteria

There does need to be a better process maybe something centralised that the bookies have access to but cant control so they cant then delay and refuse.
