We tend to forget that happiness doesn't come as a result of getting something we don't have, but of appreciating what we do have.

I am becoming of the opinion that Marco Rubio would be harder for the Democrats to beat in 2028 than Jd Vance. I like both men and I will vote for whoever wins the primary. But, Rubio's combination of experience and respectability makes him a very hard target for the Democrats. There's almost no opposition research that would work against Rubio. Most attacks would bounce right off him.

🚨SANDISK'S REVERSAL SHOULD BE STUDIED. A year ago SanDisk was reporting a loss of 30 cents per share. This week it reported earnings of $23.41 per share against an estimate of $14.50 and revenue of $5.95 billion against an estimate of $4.70 billion. Five AI companies signed multi-year supply agreements locking in a minimum of $42 billion in guaranteed revenue with over $11 billion in financial guarantees already committed. These are not purchase orders, These are guarantees. AI companies are paying upfront to secure supply because they cannot afford to not have it. Next quarter SanDisk is forecasting $7.75 to $8.25 billion in revenue against an estimate of $6.49 billion. The company also announced a $6 billion share buyback at all time highs. $SNDK was the best performing stock in the entire S&P 500 in 2025 with a 729% gain and is the top performing stock again in 2026. The stock is up over 4000% in the last 12 months. From losing money to $42 billion in guaranteed contracts in 12 months. The AI storage shortage did not just save SanDisk. It turned it into one of the most important companies in the world.

America just crossed a dangerous milestone: our national debt now exceeds the size of our economy. Washington spends $1.33 for every $1 it takes in, with a $1.9T deficit this year alone. When the bill comes due, expect higher taxes, a weaker dollar, fewer services, a weaker military—and our kids stuck paying for it.

In 1976, Iran’s GDP was $76B and Israel’s was $16B — Iran’s economy nearly 5x larger. In 2026, Israel’s GDP about $700B while Iran’s closer to $300B — Israel’s economy 2x+ larger — despite 90 million Iranians and just 10 million Israelis. The Islamic Republic is a disaster.

A person who recently participated in talks with Hamas returned somewhat confused. He discovered that the terrorist organization, which has been at the center of global attention for the past two years and sparked a regional war with international repercussions, is led by a mediocre, panicked and inarticulate bunch. All the way home, he wondered whether Yahya Sinwar and Mohammed Deif were of a higher caliber but were eliminated, or if this is merely a collection of local murderers that Israel, through its failures and blindness, turned into a terrifying and sophisticated monster. The war in Iran seemingly saved Hamas, temporarily. The deadline set for dismantling the organization has passed, 600 trucks loaded with goods enter Gaza every day, and the organization’s terrorists still rule the roost in western Gaza. Hamas leaders, however, do not think so. In talks in Cairo, terror is evident on their faces. Qatar has abandoned them to their fate, out of fear of Trump and anger over the backing the organization’s leaders gave to Iran while being hosted in Doha’s luxury hotels. With Iran, the situation is even worse. Hamas has repeatedly pleaded with Tehran to be included in the ceasefire agreement, but unlike Hezbollah, the Iranians do not even bother to reply with a negative answer. Hamas complains in the talks that Israel violated the agreement, yet pays no price for it; quite the opposite. The organization is beginning to internalize that no one will let them off the hook regarding demilitarization, and that even the most basic weapons must be handed over rather than kept for self-defense. The negotiators have identified a change in their strategy, aimed at stalling for time. Perhaps somehow the world will take an interest in them again. In the meantime, even the planned flotilla to Gaza is suffering from sparse registration. Greta’s attention has drifted elsewhere. Is there a chance Hamas will collapse under the pressure and hand over the tunnel maps and tens of thousands of Kalashnikovs? Here lies a difference between Israel and the U.S. In Jerusalem, they do not believe Hamas will offer more than a symbolic handover, which they will also condition on a deep IDF withdrawal. In the United States, they are much more optimistic. They believe that Turkey and Qatar are operating with different interests than Hamas, and without them, the organization will collapse under pressure. The plan is to demilitarize area after area in Gaza, clear the tunnels, hand over the weapons, and bring in a local police force (so far, a quarter of a million locals have registered). Even if Hamas does not hand over its last weapons, Washington believes its men and armaments will be restricted to a very limited area that will be much easier to conquer. The great achievement of the war is the dismantling of the Axis of Resistance into its separate components. Hezbollah is alone in Lebanon, Hamas is alone in Gaza, the Houthis are alone in Yemen, and most importantly: the ayatollahs are almost alone in Tehran. ⭕ 3 major takeaways from President Trump now, that IMHO are also breaking news: 📌 Iran agreed to give their enriched Uranium 📌 No moratorium on enriched Uranium (sunset clause), which means ZERO enrichment. 📌 Lebanon agrees to disarm Hezbollah. Now we wait to see if it all happened

Congress must hold itself to the highest ethical standard, regardless of party. Based on the facts and information that has come out, it’s simple: Eric Swalwell, Tony Gonzalez, and Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick should all resign from Congress effective immediately. If not, Congress should move to expel all three of them upon our return this week. Leadership and members in both parties should have moral clarity and recognize some things are more important than vote margins and party loyalty.

This is Seven Sisters Road in @haringeycouncil. It's an utter embarrassment that we have allowed our high streets to deteriorate to this point. This parade of shops could be a landmark destination, but instead it's neglected and forgotten. I'm all for liberalising planning BUT design codes have a place, and this is a great example. No satellite dishes, no PVC, no estate agent signs, no white paint. Just consistent signage, colours and high-quality heritage shopfronts. @createstreets

Building landing pages taught me something annoying: Contact forms are either too simple or way too complicated. So I built Submito — a simple backend for handling form submissions. No backend required.
