It sounds almost subtle, but there’s something a little unsettling about it…
Today, more and more of the data used to train models is created by other models. Text, images, even code - all of it is gradually becoming a reflection of reflections. As if we’re no longer looking at reality, but at its copy… and then a copy of that copy…
At first, it doesn’t seem like a problem. Everything works. Everything looks smart.
But deeper down, the most important things begin to fade: diversity, nuance, rare cases, the true complexity of life.
AI may seem accurate…
but at the same time, it drifts further and further away from reality.
And this is where, for me, the idea behind @getoro_xyz truly stands out.
