@ShitpostRock2 You're the one with the bowl every single time I see your name pop up on my feed lil bro
English

@thunderba11r Its the one game they published with Activision, and they don't print many copies
English

@pellerfon I just asked a jrpg group if I can start with xenoblade 3 oops
English

@HikikomoriMedia wanted dead, slitterhead, romeo is a dead man
Who is the king?
English

@ShitpostRock2 At this point ive done so many builds that idk what other futuristic "toys" could be added to spice things up. You can empty an entire room of enemies from the outside while stopping time.
English

@Thatisdiffi I don't like how weightless the game feels.
Combat in the original feels like you're loudly blasting and snapping necromorphs apart.
English

@biggieU_U Its a road to the final boss. Doesn't need key-jangling. Takes place at the end of things.
Ash lake doesnt need anything either. Let a mood wash over you. Imagine what's out there instead of seeing it all.
English

@BlueEyedClark My 10/10's include my full bias.
People who try to do objective 10/10's seems like out of obligation. Always the same games. Portal, Re1 remake, Sh2, Sekiro, Mario Galaxy, etc.
English

@StellaNoxEclair Creativity thrives in limitations as well.
My favorite games are special partially because their flaws and hapdash design (dark souls, evil within, dead rising)

There's this belief that a game is only considered "Finished" when every idea the dev team had was implemented in the final product and I just think it's really silly, everything has cuts and deadlines and it's always been that way
Robvolver 🛒@Burnvolver
"Games used to launch finished" is one of the biggest lies old gamers tell themselves.

I am still kicking myself for liquidating all my old consoles years ago. I had N64, GameCube, PS2, Dreamcast, 360, GB, GBA (both standard and SP), DS, 3DS and tons of games for all of them. Really should have just held onto them. Now all I have are my PC, laptop, and Switch.

@revenant_MMXX I haven’t bought a retro game in many years. I got into retro gaming because I couldn’t afford $60 new games. I bought mine for $5-15 each. Most I paid for retro games was $40 each for Knuckles Chaotix and Megaman X4 on the saturn, but those were rare games.

@_Deez_Games With my limited free time I'd rather replay games I know I enjoy rather than wasting time on somethin I may have to force myself to finish.
I rate games two ways; "This changed me" and "I should have replayed RE4/Dark Souls instead."
English

Bizarre take. This guy thinks you can't be a gamer if you don't replay games. I personally prefer to play 100 new games every year rather than replay the same 20 games 5 times each. Sue me!
Gordon Cramsay@GordonCramsay
"I don't replay games" What an absolutely fried take from a "gamer" page lmfaooo
English

@revenant_MMXX Only ps2 game worth that to me is RE4, and I can get that one for $12 at my local game store and every other platform.
English

Youtube video essays were a huge driving force in destroying the collectors market. Most people didn't even know Rule of Rose existed until Youtubers made a bunch of videos about it. And it's not even a good game!
Geordie 👽 ⎎⍜⍀⌇⟒⋏@BigGeordieUK
@revenant_MMXX horror game collectors are the worst, i mean look at this shit 😭
English

@Avixxionn I love the site. Creating various lists and rating things give me something to think about at work (60hr warehouse job)
It also helped me realize what physical media I was okay with selling. I ruminated long about my "forever games/deserted island games" to keep.
English

@revenant_MMXX Don't tell them anything, I'm tryna sell all my stuff before bit or disc rot sets in.
English

Zoomer gamers should guard themselves against falling for Le Physical Media meme and getting taken in by the collectoid market. Piracy, piracy, piracy. Do not give your money to some clown on Ebay who thinks a 30 year old game is worth hundreds of dollars.
nygma0451@nygma0451
More Zoomers are flocking to retro gaming and realizing its better. You love to see it.
English

@wariocolosseum Only the ppl who no-life life sims within a few months, get burnout, and think they have genuine criticisms
English

@Thatisdiffi Experiencing back-to-back peak makes ya lose appreciation for it. Gotta break it up.
I truly loved like, all these heavy hitters lately, Elden ring, Cyberpunk, E33, Bg3, probably because I was playing stuff like Escape from Bug Island and Silent Hill F between them.
English

@thunderba11r They want Bluepoint to make this one look like a Shrek movie too
English

Also wanna say it’s crazy there are people who wanted/want this game remade from the ground up. A remaster/resolution + frame rate boost is all it ever needed
thunderba11r | 🎮 DS2@thunderba11r
Case in point:
English

I 100% prefer this to the slop pseudo-dodgeslop combat they gave us in the remake

@AkirasParadox The real piece of art:
