The gaming community went WAY TOO EASY on CDPR with Cyberpunk 2077. The fact they made the game functional is not something that deserves praise
Not to mention that nearly 70% of promised features never made it into the actual game

While I love the new security clearance system, I feel like some of the rooms in the new maps got "oversimplified" in the Dead Space remake. I suppose it's ultimately not a huge deal, but I personally kind of don't like that.

People who try to do objective 10/10's seems like out of obligation. Always the same games. Portal, Re1 remake, Sh2, Sekiro, Mario Galaxy, etc.

Bioshock 1, 2 and Infinite are 9/10’s.
I don’t believe any game is a 10/10.
No game is perfect.
What elevates the 3 Bioshock games to masterpieces is my own personal tastes.
What constitutes a masterpiece is subjective.

There's this belief that a game is only considered "Finished" when every idea the dev team had was implemented in the final product and I just think it's really silly, everything has cuts and deadlines and it's always been that way

I am still kicking myself for liquidating all my old consoles years ago. I had N64, GameCube, PS2, Dreamcast, 360, GB, GBA (both standard and SP), DS, 3DS and tons of games for all of them. Really should have just held onto them. Now all I have are my PC, laptop, and Switch.

@revenant_MMXX I haven’t bought a retro game in many years. I got into retro gaming because I couldn’t afford $60 new games. I bought mine for $5-15 each. Most I paid for retro games was $40 each for Knuckles Chaotix and Megaman X4 on the saturn, but those were rare games.

Sometimes I like to purposely play bad or mediocre games in order to properly appreciate good or great games. Like it keeps me more grounded or something. It lets me see the reality of things.
Other times, I just like to play bad games for fun.
